Chris Turner is a highly experienced FF&E procurement specialist having worked in the industry for more than twenty years. From his early days of installation work in his younger years, Chris became employed by an established specialist procurement company in 1996. Starting as a project administrator, Chris learned how to carry out FF&E procurement from the ground up.

During a twenty-year period with the company, Chris graduated through the ranks to become Operations Director in his later years with the company. This path gave Chris a solid foundation in the industry, learning the ins and outs at all levels gaining a fully rounded experience of the procurement world. After a spell with a property developer, Chris founded his own company to enable him to enter the procurement industry under his own name.

Starting in 1996, Chris spent twenty-one years with a specialist procurement company. From his early days as a project administrator, Chris quickly learned how to carry out procurement from the ground up and rose through the company to become Operations Director in his later years with the company.

This included time working in the Dubai and Hong Kong offices, establishing working connections in the Middle East and Far East. This path gave Chris a solid foundation in the industry, learning the ins and outs at all levels, gaining a fully rounded experience of the procurement world.

After a spell with a property developer, Chris founded Chris Turner Procurement in 2018 to enable him to enter the procurement industry under his own name.

Ben Harvey

Ben is a highly motivated and experienced FF&E and OS&E procurement specialist with a passion for design and hospitality.

Ben has previously worked for two hotel operators, giving him an excellent insight to procurement from the perspective of the hotel brands. This in-house foundation gave Ben the perfect springboard to launch fully into the procurement world.

Ben has picked up a great deal of international experience and is procuring from worldwide sources as well as handling international logistics. Ben’s straightforward approach ensures that projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently whilst making sure pennies add up.

Ben has a very hands-on approach and can often be seen on the back of a truck during busy installation periods.


Francisco Hernández Olaya

Francisco has come to procurement following a long and successful career in events management.

This operations background gives Francisco the perfect insight into how hotels operate enabling him to guide the team on what is important to the operator. Francisco used the lockdown period to retrain in procurement and has hit the ground running. A strongly motivated character, Francisco brings energy and commitment to everything he works on.

His passion for design, architecture, service standards, and intuitive problem-solving makes him a very effective procurement manager with a determination to get the job done. When not working, Francisco spends his time at art galleries and studying architecture.

A self-confessed wine lover, Francisco likes to share his knowledge, often when not asked.

Catalina Arciniegas

Catalina has worked in the furniture and interior industry for more than ten years as an interior designer and an FF&E project and procurement manager for a well-known furniture manufacturer.

During this time, Catalina has worked for numerous prestigious clients including world-class wellness and leisure facilities as well as hotels in the UK and across Europe.

Having worked for a furniture supplier, Catalina has detailed knowledge of the inside workings of furniture manufacture by liaising with numerous European and worldwide manufacturers.

Catalina is a highly organised and motivated individual who brings calmness and control during the busy working day and makes sure the Chris Turner Procurement team stays in line.


Sheila Murphy

Sheila is a highly experienced procurement manager with insight into all aspects of procurement having worked previously for a hotel operator, property developer, interior designer, and supplier.

This gives Sheila a full 360-degree view of the procurement world, which enables her to see the tasks ahead from all perspectives. Sheila has worked on a wide range of projects in the UK and overseas and understands the requirements of luxury developments.

Sheila’s career started in her native New York so adds to the international experience of the Chris Turner Procurement team. Having been in the UK for over ten years, we have managed to chisel away some of the New York edges.
